I do not usually leave a ton of comments on posts as I choose quotes that I feel like encompass the day and the emotions. With that being said yesterday was an unsual occasion.

As many of you know East Texas has been hit by some massive storms lately. One in particular left our wedding venue with no power. With Temps yesterday hitting 92 degrees with a heat index of 107 you can only begin to imagine the challenges that came with that.

First, this beautiful bride held it together so well. She still looked stunning and spent the evening celebrating with her friends, family and new hubby.

Second, I have seriously not met nicer people. There was such an array of problems that we encountered and they remained kind and patient through its entirety.

Lastly, I will never stop emphasizing the importance of choosing vendors that not only have a good reputation but also ones that work well together and that you trust. Yesterday was a tough one and without the amazing staff all working together it would have been a thousand times more challenging. I am truly blown away by these amazing vendors and cannot sing their praises enough. Magically the power came back on minutes before the bride walked the isle leaving us room to celebrate all night long!
